Responsibilities
- full scope of accounting activities for a medium size company in TV sales located in Rome
- monthly / quarterly / yearly closing
- tax return preparation and processing e.g. F24, certification of withholding taxes (ritenuta d’acconto), 770
- assisting the preparations for comunicazione IVA and dichiarazione IVA in cooperation with our commercialista
- reporting to Italian authorities (Intrastat, digital invoicing)
- payroll data posting (payroll itself is outsourced)
- support of payment runs (creditors, salaries)
- cooperation with debit accounting & call center
- communication with local staff in Italy
- inter-company balance confirmations
- logical controlling of processed data for accuracy
- investigation of deviations
- support preparation of data / analyses for the management
- support cash flow data preparation and reporting
- preparation for audits; serving as a contact for auditors and tax consultants
- archiving of data & documents
- inter-action with software provider (programming preparations etc.)
Profile
- work experience as an accountant with the above-mentioned scope of tasks
- Italian GAAP
- flexibility, reliability, accuracy, ability to prioritize
- excellent team-player and communication skills
- fluent Italian & good English
- Microsoft Package
- willingness to re-locate to Berlin & long-term commitment
